Will a 4 yard midi fit on my drive?
At 8 by 4 feet, here's what you need before the wagon arrives:
- Leave about a foot clear around it
- The wagon needs roughly 3 metres width to get in
- No low branches or phone lines overhead
No drive? It can go on the road with a council permit, which we sort for you.

A full bathroom
Bath, toilet, sink, wall tiles and old plasterboard, bagged separately.
An average kitchen
Units, worktops and flooring, broken down flat. Fridges and freezers can't go in.
A garage or loft
Boxes, old bikes, broken chairs and everything you forgot was up there.

4 yard midi FAQs
Questions about the 4 yard midi
Is a 4 yard skip the same as a 4 tonne skip?
Yes. Yards is the space inside, about 3.1 cubic metres. Tonnes is the most it can weigh.
Can I put soil and rubble in it?
Yes, but they're heavy, so you may hit the weight limit before it looks full. Ring us if it's mostly soil.
Can I fill it to the top?
Up to the top edge, not above it. An overloaded skip can't legally be collected until it's levelled.
How quickly can you deliver?
Usually next day, same day if we have one free. Road skips wait for the council permit.
How do I get it collected?
Tap the link in your confirmation email when it's full, or we collect on your last hire day.
